Blocked PAT attempt dooms FDU/Madison

MADISON, NJ -- Pat Hardy blocked FDU/Madison's PAT attempt with 2:58 remaining on the game clock to preserve Delaware Valley's 27-26 victory in the Middle Atlantic Conference encounter on Saturday. Ed Cracchiolo hauled in a 20-yard TD strike from Brad Bishop to pull the Devils (0-5) within one point before Hardy broke through through and thwarted FDU/Madison's effort to force an overtime. Bishop completed 15 of 30 aerial attempts for 193 yards with no interceptions while connecting for three TDs. The first two went to Mike Quigley for TDs of 39 and 16 yards. The Aggies' Duke Greco hit on 29 of 45 passes for 307 yards including a pair of touchdwons and he also scored twice from four and seven yards out.
