Damon Saxon of King's (PA), who ranked No. 1 in rushing in the nation, has been chosen to the 6th Annual KEN'S STEAK HOUSE/USAFOOTBALL.COM Division III All American First Team. Bryan Meier, Greenville's tight end and Chicago linebacker Dan Philips are the only repeaters to the First Team from 1999.
National champion Mount Union is represented on the First Team by quarterback Gary Smeck, wide receiver Adam Marino and offensive lineman Jason Gerber. Pacific Lutheran quarterback Chad Johnson, the recipient of the 2000 Gagliardi Trophy, was also named to the First Team.

Brian Senske of St. Olaf has been chosen the first team QB on the 2nd Annual KEN'S STEAK HOUSE/ USAFOOTBALL.COM Freshmen All American Team.. He was the top-ranked first year signal caller, connecting on 124 of 217 aerial attempts for 1706 yards as he was 40th in the NCAA Division III passing efficiency statistics. Johnson honored with Gagliardi Trophy

Chad Johnson, who guided Pacific Lutheran University to the 1999 Division III national championship, was accompanied by Frosty Westering, his grandfather and the PLU head coach, when he received the Gagliardi Trophy in Salem, VA at the site of the 1999 championship game, won by the Lutes 42-13 over Rowan.

USA D-III All Stars win Aztec Bowl

For the fourth consecutive year, the USA Division III All Star team coached by Ron Schipper, the recipient of the inagural Butterfield Award, defeated the Mexican All Stars in a game played at Alvarado Stadium in the city of Merida on the Yucatan Peninsula. See story....
