USAFOOTBALL.COM has been presenting Division II Player of the Week Awards for Offense, Defense, Rookie and Special Teams since 1996. The honoress are announced every Tuesday afternoon via releases to the three national wire services, all D-III conferences and colleges plus publication on this web page. Nominations are requested from coaches, sports information directors and members of the media.

Dawson set a new W&J record, tossing 6 TD passes, all in the 1st half that covered 18, 29, 30, 12, 3 and 13 yards while connecting on 14 of 19 passing attempts for 306 yards and no interceptions.
Bergstrom recorded 17 tackles, 10 of which were solo hits, including two QB sacks while scooping up a fumble and and returning it for a touchdown. He extended his streak of double digit tackles to 9.
Swearingin was named the OAC Defensive Player of the Week after posting 11 tackles, three of which were for losses as well as a pair of QB sacks in a 37-7 victory over Heidelberg. mmmmmmmmm
Hickey punted a team - record 13 times for an average of 41.3 yards with a longest of 48. Four of the punts landed inside the 15-yard line. mmmmmmmmmmm
