Ingram sets Mississippi career rushing mark

Noah Ingram of Ruleville Central (MS) toted the pigskin 34 times, gaining 250 yards in a 20-0 win over Shaw to up his career total to 7,562 yards and snap the existing mark of 7,416 yards set in 1999 of Marvin Vaughn of Velma Jackson.

Staten posts Mississippi single-season record

Torey State of D'Ilberville (MS) carried the ball 35 times, rushing for 517 yards and six TDs of 6, 82, 72, 67,80 and 57 yards in a 55-28 win over East Central to set a Mississippi single-game rushing record breaking the mark of 506 yards established by Noah Ingram of Rileville Central on September 8, 2000.

Kinney ties eight-man Nebraska record for TDs

Mickey Kinney of Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE) tied the state eight-man record by scoring 9 TDs in a 72-24 victory over Palmer as he ran 5, 22, 6, 18, 2, 53, 1, 6 and 34 yards to paydirt in less than three full quarters of action.

Harter ties Colorado single-game FG record

Chad Harter of Smoky Hill (CO) split the uprights for field goals of 49, 25, 41, 27 and 49 yards in a 22-14 win over Eaglecrest to tie the Colorado record for FGs in a game.

Reid sets Georgia career rushing mark

Willie Reid of Warner Robins (GA) gained 226 yards on the ground, including TD runs of 35, 6, 46 and 1 yard in a 49-12 win over Carver to set the Georgia career rushing record at 4,822 yards.
